The laboratory at the centre of IKAR — the one that formulates the products and runs the trials behind them — is now doing a second job: analytical work for customers outside the company.
It is a natural extension. The R&D&I centre already carries the instruments and the people needed to characterise soils, tissues, and formulations for our own development work. Making that capacity available to growers, distributors, and other laboratories puts it to fuller use and, not incidentally, keeps our own agronomists close to the questions the field is actually asking.
More people at the bench
To support both the internal programme and the external service, we have brought additional scientists and specialists onto the team. It is the least visible kind of investment and, over time, usually the most consequential: the evidence base a company like ours rests on is only ever as good as the people who build it.
